in 1995, the M.T.S. Consuelo was specially designed to offer
travelers a unique experience while sailing Lake Titicaca between
Peru and Bolivia. This Catamaran type vessel carries up to 150
passengers as a day cruiser and provides comfortable sleeping
accommodations for up to 40 passengers in 20 luxurious outside
cabins on overnight trips.
Engineers planning the exclusive design of the Consuelo took special
note of the surroundings in which the vessel would operate.
Passengers can enjoy the lake and the astounding Andes mountain
range views from the outdoor decks and from inside the vessel
through its large panoramic windows. Furthermore the Consuelo is
equipped with a specialized library, a fully stocked bar, closed
circuit TV and elegant dining room.
