Venezuela uses the metric system and its derivations for distances
(1 millimeter = 0,001 meter, 1 centimeter - 0.01 meter and 1
kilometer = 1,000 meters). For weights the kilo and its derivations
is used (1 kilogram = 1,000 grams, 1 pound is 500 grams). For
capacity the liter and the cubic centimeter (cc) are used (1,000 cc
= 1 liter. Temperatures are measured in grades centigrade.
