Our web-site has been completely re-designed, We offer packages,
programs, cruises and other services in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador,
Peru and Venezuela. We are currently in the process of updating our
site and some of our products may not have been entered in
our site yet. Please contact us with any questions you may have on

Many answers to general questions in regard to travel plans to a

Answer - What is the difference
between Tour & Travel Packages, Adventure Programs and Escorted Tours?
There is a significant difference between the three types of
programs as follows.
- Tour & Travel Packages are programs we put together for our
clients. Most of the time Tour & Travel Packages will include some
airfares, some guided services, additional transfers, extra
accommodations and other customized portions of a trip.
- Adventure Programs are those that can be considered "off
the beaten path". These programs may not be for all travelers and
normally will require most of the time good health physical
conditions. Good examples of Adventure Programs are expeditions into
the rain forest of the Amazon, hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu
or horse back riding in the Andes. These are programs that may not
be for everyone and therefore are considered to be Adventure
programs.
- Escorted Tours are group tours that include all services. A
professional bi-lingual guide will accompany travelers at all times
and will make sure all the logistics are in place. These programs
are "as is". Add on days are possible only at the beginning or at
the end of the tour.

Special Interest Tours are programs that have been designed
specially for a certain segment of the traveling public.
Participants on these tours normally have one goal in mind for their
travel time and focus their interest on one topic. Some topics for
Special Interest Tours can be Bird watching, Fishing,
Herpetology, Diving, Tropical
Fish Collection, Photography, Archeology, Hiking, Biking, Whale
watching, etc.
People signing up for these type of tours all share the same

Yes. The programs, packages and cruises listed on our site are meant
to be a guide for most travelers. We specialize in customized
requests from our clients in order to make their vacation a

Answer - Can you arrange for International and domestic airline reservations and ticketing
for the countries we will visit?
Yes, we will arrange all airline reservations and ticketing if so
requested by our clients. We have contracts with most airlines serving South America on international flights and
we also have contracts with the domestic airlines
in the countries in which we offer our vacation programs.
NOTE: We do not make reservations only. Tickets need
to be purchased through Latin Tours Online if reservations were made
through us.

What is included in the Tours and Packages you offer?
Under the Useful Information link in each individual program
we have included a list of what is included and what is not
included. These list change from program to programs as no two are
alike. Make sure you understand clearly what is and what is not
included in your vacation program, as you may need to bring along
additional cash or credit cards (if accepted) for services not
included. Your final invoice also details what is included in your
program and what not.
Answer - Can I make a
"hotel only" reservation?
No. We do not accept "hotel only" reservations. We specialize in
custom designed vacations that include transportation,
accommodations, transfers, sightseeing etc. Unfortunately we do not
handle hotel only reservations.
Answer - Why are some tours and programs
listed in more than just one category?
The reason is simple. Some of our tours and programs will be listed in several
categories, cities and sometimes even in several countries, as they
may fit into these each of these categories. For example: An Amazon River program combined
with a program in the Cuzco and Machu Picchu area will show
under cruises and also under tour and travel packages. Also, if a
program covers more than one city or region or if it covers more
than one country it will show in each of the cities where the
program will be operated.

What should I pack for my vacation?
All our programs and packages have detailed information as to what
to bring and what to pack for your vacation. This information can be
found by clicking on the Useful Information link in each
individual program. Of course, the items in our list are just a
sample of what you can bring and in no way should you consider our
list complete. Each individual has his/her own needs. Our list is

services offered. Can you send me one?
No, we are sorry. Latin Tours Online does not produce brochures. As access to the internet has grown and most
households nowadays have a connection at home, we have decided not
to produce four color brochures anymore. All our tours, programs and
services are fully described and detailed here in our web site where
they can be up-dated quickly and where new programs can be added as
desired and not only when a new brochure is printed. The substantial
savings in printing cost are being passed on to our customers in the
cost of their trip cost.
