Description:
Extend your visit with a
few days on the little visited coast of Peru, only 300
kilometers from Lima. Travel by "Royal Class" bus -
travel from Lima to the coast is optional - and discover
a whole new world rarely seen by travelers. The desert area
on the Pacific coast has much to offer to visitors. Explore
the region with us or maybe you just wish to add a few days
of relaxation in a nice hotel in Ica. The highlights of the
program are visits to the Ballestas islands, also called
"Little Galapagos" by the locals, and a fly-over the
mysterious Nazca lines.

added to the program in Lima, Paracas or Ica and private
tours are available upon request. |

1 - Any day
AM / PM - Lima - Paracas /
Transfer
Enjoy the early morning hours at your hotel
in
Lima (the night previous to the program is NOT included in the
program). A guide will pick you up from your hotel for the late
morning transfer to the bus station. Here you will board excellent
"Royal Class" bus service to Paracas. Sit back and enjoy the
changing scenery on this five hour bus ride that will take you from
Peru's capital to the coast. Arrive at
Hotel Paracas where you will
check in for the night.

EVE - Evening at leisure.
(No meals)
Day 2
AM - Paracas - Ballestas Islands /
Sightseeing
After a delicious buffet breakfast at the hotel the guide will take
us on a morning boat trip of the Ballestas Islands, also referred to
as "Little Galapagos". This reserve is home to an
incredible variety of marine animals and birds. An enormous
concentration of migratory and resident sea birds, including
pelicans, flamingos, penguins, cormorants, red boobies and terns can
be seen here and the rocks seem to be alive with many sea lions who
make this place their permanent home.
PM - Ica /
City
Lunch at a local restaurant in Paracas (on own) followed
by a one hour transfer by bus to the wine growing area of Ica. Upon
arrival we will check in at
Hotel Las Dunas. Later in the afternoon
our guide will take us on a city tour of Ica including visits to
interesting colonial mansions and churches, the
surprisingly beautiful "Museo Regional", with some Paracas and Chimu
gold and silver archaeological relics. We will also visit Huacachina
Lagoon and a traditional wine yard.
EVE - Enjoy the facilities of the hotel at leisure.
Overnight.

Day 3
AM - Ica - Nazca / Sightseeing /
Nazca lines
Buffet breakfast at the hotel followed by
a transfer to Nazca airport. Here we will board a small plane for
the flight over the mysterious “Lines of Nazca”, a series of
inexplicable geometric lines which representing animals such as: the
monkey and spider among other. Return to the hotel for some relax.
PM - Ica -
Lima / Transfer
Lunch at the hotel or local restaurant (on own). In
the early afternoon we board the "Royal Class" bus service back to
Lima where we arrive in the early evening hours.
EVE - Transfer from the airport to your hotel in Lima.
