CAR TRANSFERS - (Any

AM
- Prepare for an early morning pick up from your hotel. We
will depart Cuzco by car in a generally Southern direction,
driving along the beautiful Vilcanota Valley progressively
going up to an elevation of 15,000 feet above sea level to
"La Raya". This point of the trip between Cuzco and Puno
offers spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains of the
Andes. There will be plenty of time to take some amazing
pictures here which is also the place where the Vilcanota
River originates. Later we visit Racchi with its fabulous
Temple of Wiracocha which dates back to the Inca time. Herds
of Lamas and Alpacas can be seen along the highway.
PM
- Lunch will be served en route (included). Arrive in Puno by mid afternoon and drop
off at your hotel.

TRAIN TRANSFERS - (Mondays,
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays only) |
AM
- Prepare for an early morning transfer from your hotel in
Cuzco to the train station. Board the train and be seated in
the 1st. Class section. Depart at 8 AM and begin the ride that will take you on a great scenic
journey through the mountains and valleys of the Andes. No
guide will be present during this trip and no stops will be
made for any type of sightseeing between Cuzco and Puno.
PM
- Lunch will be served en route (not included). The arrival
in Puno will be around 6 PM. Our local representative will
be waiting for you at the train station in Puno and provide
the transfer to your local hotel.

BUS TRANSFERS - (Any
day) |
AM - Prepare for an early morning transfer from your hotel in
Cuzco to the bus station. You will board the train that will
take you on a great scenic journey through the mountains and
valleys of the Andes. No guide will be present during this
once in a lifetime opportunity which offers you a different
view of the region between Cuzco and Puno.
PM
- Lunch will be served en route (not included). Our local representative in
Puno will be waiting for you at the bus station upon arrival
from Cuzco and provide the transfer to your local hotel.
