hotel has the privilege to be located in Esteves
Island, on the shores of Lake Titicaca, the
highest navigable lake in the world. The hotel
is just five minutes away from downtown Puno,
forty five minutes from Juliaca Manco Capac
Airport and two hours from the Bolivian border.
Esteves Island was probably used by the

times; during the Republic it functioned as a
prison.
Libertador Lake Titicaca hotel was built in 1979
and totally refurbished between 1998 and 2000.
Its transverse position will let travelers enjoy
the beautiful landscapes of the surroundings, as
well as marvelous sunrises and sunsets. In its
12 hectares area the Libertador hotel preserves
the ecology and respects the environment. In the
surrounding terrain you will see Andean animals
such as alpacas walking freely all around,
offering a picturesque and a unique landscape of
the region.
The hotel has 111 rooms and 12 large suites, all
elegantly furnished to satisfy the most
exquisite taste and offering the highest quality
