Ica
and Nazca, a sunny region that will surely blow you away. Where to
start will be a most difficult choice, Ica, with its beautiful
beaches, Nazca with its mysterious lines or the Ballestas islands,
also called "Little Galapagos". And this is not all there is to see.
The city of Ica is located on the central coast of Peru, at just 300
kilometers south of Lima, and at 1,300 feet above sea level. It is
accessible by land, taking the Pan Americana Sur highway from Lima
in just 3 hours, or by air from Lima on a 40 minute flight.
The best way to see the area is by bus or car and the only way to
see the famous Nazca lines is by air either from Ica or Nazca. |
