The Galapagos islands have two airports, located on
Baltra and
San Cristobal island. Several airlines serve the islands with
daily flights from
Quito and
Guayaquil.
Since January 01, 2007 there is an increase in the domestic flight
tax for use of airport locations:
- Guayaquil - Jose Joaquin Olmedo Airport from $4.00 to $4.25,
an additional $0.25 will be
charged to your domestic flights including Galapagos, departing or
arriving from Guayaquil Airport
- Quito - Mariscal Sucre Airport from $3.17 to $6.36, an additional
$3.19 will be charged to your domestic flights including Galapagos
departing or arriving from Quito Airport.
