As in many places in the Amazon, the city starts with an early
morning at the port where locals come to do their daily grocery
shopping for fresh fruits, vegetable, meats and fish. Stores,
government offices and banks open at 8 in the morning. The city will
almost close from 12 till 2 pm then it will reopen until 6.
