Day 2  - Iguassu Falls / Sightseeing Brazilian and Argentinean Falls - Dinner show

- After breakfast at the hotel you will be picked up by your English speaking guide for a full day tour of the Majestic Falls, both on the Brazilian and Argentinean side of the border.

The tour will begin at the Iguassu National Park Visitor’s Centre. From here we board a bus for the drive through the lush subtropical vegetation of the park en route to the falls. We penetrate the mist of the Devil’s Throat on the main walkway and take the glass elevator up the cliff from where we have a view from the upper deck. The Iguassu National Park, along with its “sister” park in Argentina, forms the most significant remaining rainforest in the southern cone which together with the cataracts has been declared National Heritage of Mankind by UNESCO. On our way back we visit the handicraft center.

PM -
Lunch will be served at the Porto Canoas restaurant located inside the Brazilian national park.
Later we cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge with its lovely view of the Iguassu Canyon en route to the Iguassu National Park in Argentina. Here we visit the upper and lower walkways which allow a different perspective and more intimate contact with the falls adjoining rainforest filled with orchids, bromeliads, birds and other wildlife. The highlight of the trip is a visit to the suspended platform at the very brink of the abysmal Devil’s Throat, the largest of the waterfalls. Return to the hotel.

EVE - OPTIONAL - Dinner Show - "Pick up from the hotel and transfer to "Rafain" restaurant for a typical Brazilian barbecue dinner with large selection of salads and charcoal-broiled meats. Enjoy the typical show of local musicians and performers showing the influences of the three frontiers between Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. Transfer back to the hotel."
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3  - Iguassu Falls / Macuco Safari - Transfer
AM
- Breakfast at the hotel. OPTIONAL - Macuco Safari - "Transfer from the hotel to the Brazilian National Park, just 3 kilometers from the Iguassu Falls. Open-air wagons pulled by jeeps, accompanied by bilingual guides allow an unhindered view of this lush, sub-tropical, intact ecosystem rich of rare birds, mammals, orchids and epiphytes. After a short ride, we hike down the canyon where the Macuco Falls tumble over basalt cliffs into the Iguassu Basin. On the border of the river, we embark specially designed inflatable boats, for a 20 to 30 minute ride up into the canyon, the real border between the Brazilian and Argentinean National Parks. This is an amazing experience for those seeking adventure and a different unique view of the Falls. Transfer back to the hotel."

PM - Transfer to the airport for your flight out.
